Nobel Systems team members have been very busy in recent weeks attending water management and wastewater seminars and forums in the States and across the world.
CTO Aretha Samuels, Software Developer Jabina Richard, VP of Operations Balaji Kadaba, and other Nobel team members attended the 34th annual Tri-State seminar in Las Vegas Sept. 25 to 27. The three-day seminar provides education to water and wastewater operators from throughout the Western United States.
Meanwhile, Nobel Systems President Micheal Samuel traveled to Manila in the Philippines to speak at the Asia Water Forum about using GIS for water systems management.
The Asia Water Forum is hosted by the Asian Development Bank. The theme of the 2018 Asia Water Forum theme was “Information, Innovation, and Technology.”

Nobel Systems showcased its newest products such as its Real-Time Water Pressure Monitoring (IoT) System, GIS Interactive Billing System, and GIS Base Work Order System at the Tri-State Seminar.
During a presentation, Eric Greene, GIS Manager for the City of Hesperia, spoke about Nobel Systems GeoViewer™, explaining to the audience how Hesperia uses it to manage its assets. He also gave a demonstration of how the GeoViewer Work Order operates.
He explained how Nobel Systems “digitized 95%” of the City of Hesperia’s data, and urged those who work with cities that have not yet moved to the Cloud and digitized infrastructure maps and other system information to start thinking about budgeting for GIS/IoT asset management.

Nobel Systems President Michael Samuel spoke at the Asia Water Forum about ways GIS Cloud and IoT technologies can help water utilities and companies effectively manage their assets and workflows.
Asia and the Pacific region are facing rapid economic and population growth as well as the challenges that come along with such growth. One such challenge is the lack of sustainable water supplies. To this end, the Asian Development Bank hosted the forum to find ways to address sustainable water management.
Samuel talked about the business value of using GIS in managing water systems. Nobel’s cloud and IoT systems, which include GeoViewer™ Online and Mobile, as well as a real-time water pressure monitoring system, help water utilities manage assets and workflows in a manner that saves time and money.
